a tangle of decay and life
a labyrinth among the trees
This passage from Richard Rohr’s Daily Meditation (March 23) caught my attention this morning. From Rabbi Nahum Ward-Lev: “While most of us are not yet prophets, we also know the presence of a great love, a love that includes the entire world. . . . We yearn for a world in which all can flourish. Fueled by our own particular yearning, we occasionally entertain visions for how some small part of our world can be liberated into greater possibility.”
Light can be tricky. I’ll be doing a little research and trying this one again. I sense that Light and Shadow have something to teach me.
May we recognize the miracles among which and whom we walk.
Death and decay mark the forest floor, path, and place of rebirth.
Yesterday I shared with a group of friends about my childhood fascination with my grandma’s journals. It dawned on me how likely it is that her practice inspired mine.
