While I was moving the painting around in my studio, it helped to have the edges be dry. Today I painted the top, left and right edges. I also signed it! In about a week, I’ll paint the bottom edge and it will be officially done.

Below are close-up images inspired by the liturgical seasons. These elements are found at the base of the tree where roots, like the rituals and rhythms of the liturgical seasons, provide structural support and nourishment.
