While we’re still in the Christmas week, I send you this image. With its creation, I pondered the incarnation: Immanuel coming to be with us as the Christ Child. I thought about the local nature of time and space — earthly constructs necessary for life and the cycles of life.

We are wrapped in a cosmic blanket of time and space. How we share the blanket is our call.
