SOCIAL MEDIA:

Instagram holds many seasons of my creative contemplation. It continues to be a place I share fresh paint & ink, and I'd be delighted to meet you there!

Sacred lotus kin, Wisdom from Hannah Arendt: Something cracks in me Annie Dillard wrote, “Nature is, above all, profligate. Don’t believe them when they tell you how economical and thrifty nature is, whose leaves return to the soil. Wouldn’t it be cheaper to leave them on the tree in the first place? This deciduous business alone is a radical scheme… Extravagance!” “With sophisticated technology, we strive to see what is beyond us, but are often blind to the myriad sparkling facets that lie so close at hand. We think we’re seeing when we’ve only scratched the surface. Our acuity at this middle scale seems diminished, not by any failing of the eyes, but by the willingness of the mind. … [H]ave we become dismissive of what takes no technology but only time and patience to perceive?” —Robin Wall Kimmerer We listen, we heal. “We carry ourselves wherever we go…” —Amma Matrona “Waving a white flag, Black Hawk tried to surrender…” -from Wikipedia’s article on the Battle of Bad Axe Gracias a La Vida que me ha dado la amistad con hermana Sonia y hermano Francisco. Que descansen en la paz y en amor eterno.
