The phrase, “Lead us home,” reflects the prayer of my heart.

I believe we come from a foundation of unconditional love, of oneness; “home” for me is an experience of oneness, of wholeness, of “everything’s-gonna-be-okayness.” Ram Dass said these beautiful words, “We’re all just walking each other home.”

Home as origin, journey and destination. Home… where all are one, where all are whole.

To pray, “Lead us home… for all are one in Christ Jesus,” may be similar to the father who wanted healing for his son, who cried out to Jesus, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

Yep… We are one in Christ… help us get there. There’s no place like home.

Happy to say that this is the first commission created and delivered through my new website. What a joy and honor to be a small part of the community supporting a young woman’s affirmation of baptism through the verse she has chosen.
