May 30

Today is Trinity Sunday in the Western Christian Liturgical Calendar. There is a lot of trinitarian-inspired imagery in my journaling. Not so much today, though. Images created on this day hearken the ever-creative syncopation of grace, deep within the flow. Over the years I’ve dedicated a lot of earthly time to listening around the edges of such moments.

Deep between each step,

momentum suspends; Wisdom

and Love root us on.

“Seven Years of Wonder” is a daily look back at my creative journaling posts since 2014. I began this journey on Feb. 11, 2021, and hope to continue through Feb. 10, 2022. What am I learning about my art and faith journey thus far? What has remained constant? Where have I been changed? How is this impacting present and future art-making?

A deep bow of gratitude to you for keeping me company on this journey.

Today, as every day, I appreciate your sharing thoughts of our God in visual images…in a few words that somehow capture so many messages and meanings. Thank you.
