In roundabout ways, this morning’s images are re-fueling my desire to get into the new studio space in our Texas cabin. We continue to have to wait, though, on windows.
Jim’s “Wireman” picture was taken in that space back in 2016, when having an in-home studio was far from being imagined. What I see when I look at the photo now is the raw and beautiful potential of that space. I also wonder about Wireman foreshadowing my yoga prayer postures! 🙂
C’mon, Window People! Let’s make some magic!

2016 – “Wireman” by Jim
In 2016, Jim wrote, “We complete our journey to the Guild today. Drawing on a solid grade school art education from St. Eugene’s (see Wireman example from 6th grade), I am ready to begin again, so beware.”

“Seven Years of Wonder” is a daily look back at my creative journaling posts since 2014. I began this journey on Feb. 11, 2021, and hope to continue through Feb. 10, 2022. What am I learning about my art and faith journey thus far? What has remained constant? Where have I been changed? How is this impacting present and future art-making?
A deep bow of gratitude to you for keeping me company on this journey.
