Before I begin with the images from today, I want to share something that was stirred in me during a walk after yesterday’s posting. It’s a haiku of gratitude to the founders of the Grunewald Guild, Rich and Liz Caemmerer. The image, which is again shared below, holds references to the Finisterre and the Labyrinth on the Guild campus, spaces inspired by the founders. You can learn more about these spaces and how they came to be here.

Rich and Liz, my guides,

I carry your legacies

as tools for my soul.

“Seven Years of Wonder” is a daily look back at my creative journaling posts since 2014. I began this journey on Feb. 11, 2021, and hope to continue through Feb. 10, 2022. What am I learning about my art and faith journey thus far? What has remained constant? Where have I been changed? How is this impacting present and future art-making?

A deep bow of gratitude to you for keeping me company on this journey.
