It made me smile to recall the inspiration for the 2015 image (a commissioned wedding present.) Checking FB Messenger, I was delighted to find the conversation with my friend, Kelly… after six years! Also included in the thread was a photo of the 11×14 piece.
I’ve stayed connected with this big-hearted couple, Jennifer and Xavier, through social media, watching and praying for them from a distance as their family has grown in such honest and beautiful ways.

I love the 2018 art about let gratefulness overflow. I remember that at that point the culture was getting even more focused on anger. Gratefulness is a good antidote to anger.
