Below I share a couple photos from my time in Austria. One is a vista while riding in a car; the other is a look up into a tower at the Christmas Market in Innsbruck. It intrigues me that a year later I take a very similar vista photo from the River House porch at the Grünewald Guild.

The photo below brings back memories of our first roofalanche (roof avalanche) experienced at the River House.

“I pointed out to you the stars (and the moon) and all you saw was the tip of my finger.” —Sukuma proverb, Tanzania, p. 103 from Barbara A. Holmes’ book, Race and the Cosmos

“Seven Years of Wonder” is a daily look back at my creative journaling posts since 2014. I began this journey on Feb. 11, 2021, and hope to continue through Feb. 10, 2022. What am I learning about my art and faith journey thus far? What has remained constant? Where have I been changed? How is this impacting present and future art-making?

A deep bow of gratitude to you for keeping me company on this journey.
