If you happen to be a child of the 70’s, like me, the word ‘harmony’ may bubble up in you the tune, “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing.” What I’m coming to grips with is that this bubbling up could also be a sign that I am a child of the Coca Cola culture.
And I’m not sure how I feel about that.

2017 – I believe this will be the final collection of images from the Women of the ELCA Triennial. The first image shows a profile shot of all the pages generated during the event. The second is a grace-filled moment when my seat-mates on the return flight were new friends from the Triennial! (They let me sleep, too!) The third was my welcome home… The first thing I did was go see the newly installed band on the Finisterre. From a distance I was questioning whether I liked it. One glance up from it, though, gave me the assurance it was meant to be.

“Seven Years of Wonder” is a daily look back at my creative journaling posts since 2014. I began this journey on Feb. 11, 2021, and hope to continue through Feb. 10, 2022. What am I learning about my art and faith journey thus far? What has remained constant? Where have I been changed? How is this impacting present and future art-making?
A deep bow of gratitude to you for keeping me company on this journey.
