“[Christ] is at the heart of all that moves us.” ~Teilhard de Chardin

As soon as the windows arrive for my studio, which hopefully will now be January 2022, I plan to paint another version of the 2019 Prairie Fire, this time on a 30″x30″ canvas. I am pumped with anticipation about it.

Friends live in the shelter of one another. ~Irish Proverb

Blessed are the meek—
the gently strong, the down to earth,
the enduring home-makers.

A little haiku written in 2019 for this Prairie Fire:

To catch and release
the beauty of Prairie Fire
I am indebted.

“Seven Years of Wonder” is a daily look back at my creative journaling posts since 2014. I began this journey on Feb. 11, 2021, and hope to continue through Feb. 10, 2022. What am I learning about my art and faith journey thus far? What has remained constant? Where have I been changed? How is this impacting present and future art-making?

A deep bow of gratitude to you for keeping me company on this journey.
