New leaves, fresh blossoms, green fruit… Carry on!

“All around worlds are dying out, new worlds are being born… The fruit ripens on the trees, while the roots are silently at work in the darkness of the earth against a time when there shall be new leaves, fresh blossoms, green fruit. Such is the growing edge! It is the one more thing to try when all else has failed, the upward reach of life. It is the incentive to carry on.” —Howard Thurman, From the Inward Journey

From our home to yours… Blessings in 2022!

“Seven Years of Wonder” is a daily look back at my creative journaling posts since 2014. I began this journey on Feb. 11, 2021, and hope to continue through Feb. 10, 2022. What am I learning about my art and faith journey thus far? What has remained constant? Where have I been changed? How is this impacting present and future art-making?

A deep bow of gratitude to you for keeping me company on this journey.

For some unknown reason – 2018 triggered one of those “Oh, I remember that,” but can’t pinpoint the reason. Perhaps that is what mystery and creativity is supposed to do?
